Hatton Court Docket Searches
Read the Hatton court name before picking a portal. State directories list no Hatton Municipal Court. There is no local court code, and no city case-search page. So where does a Hatton citation actually go? It may name Adams County District Court–Ritzville, District Court–Othello, or another court. The answer depends on which authority issued it and what the case involves. Felonies and major civil matters run through Adams County Superior Court instead. Never assume a case belongs to Ritzville. That court is simply the most convenient county contact.
- Copy the Hatton court and full case or citation number from the paper.
- Use re:Search WA for an Adams District Court record or Odyssey for Superior Court.
- Try Washington Name and Case Search when the Hatton court remains unclear.
- Review the Hatton case events, current setting, status, and disposition in date order.
- Call the named clerk to confirm the latest date before traveling or sending a request.
For limited-jurisdiction records, the county points to re:Search WA, with coverage starting June 1, 2026. The exact search fields are not published. Assume nothing about Hatton-specific controls or citation formats until you see them yourself.
Hatton Has No Listed City Court
Hatton has no listed city court. The city posts no municipal-court page or judge roster. There is no court code, calendar, payment portal, or caseload report anywhere official. That absence does not mean a Hatton case disappeared. It means the Hatton record must follow the court printed on the citation or filing itself. The state directory shows Adams District Court divisions in Ritzville and Othello. It also lists a separate Othello Municipal Court, yet nothing parallel for Hatton. Compare Othello's official municipal court page, a city-specific source Hatton simply does not have. The lesson for a Hatton docket search is blunt. Trust the named court, never an assumed city forum.
Quick answer: Do not search for a made-up Hatton municipal portal. Follow the Hatton court name on the ticket or caption and contact that court.
Need a starting point for an Adams limited-jurisdiction matter? Ritzville District Court serves as the practical county fallback. Its office sits at 210 W Broadway Ave, Suite 305, Ritzville, and its phone is 509-659-1002. Othello District Court is the other county division, at 425 E Main St, Suite 300, Othello, phone 509-488-3935.
Inside the Hatton Municipal Court
There is no Hatton Municipal Court to describe. No city bench, docket day, clerk, or portal exists for it. Hatton traffic infractions, misdemeanors, and small claims must be traced elsewhere. Follow the District court or other court named on the record itself. That label controls, even more than where the event took place. Adams District Court–Ritzville handles misdemeanors, infractions, small claims, name changes, and civil claims within its authority. It also takes protection petitions and warrants. Ritzville municipal matters route there too, but that arrangement creates no Hatton-specific docket. When citation wording is unclear, ask the clerk to confirm venue.
Call Before Leaving Hatton
One phone call can save a wasted trip from Hatton. Call the court named on the citation or notice. Give the clerk the exact case number, party name, and scheduled date, then ask whether the setting is still active, whether you must appear in person, and which office holds the public record. The clerk can explain procedure and access, though not legal advice.

Hold off on mailing payments or record requests until the receiving court is confirmed. An Adams County office can still be the wrong one if it does not own the Hatton court record.
Finding Hatton Court Dates
A Hatton court date can surface in the Hatton case portal, Washington Find My Court Date, or the Adams County calendar. That holds once the correct division publishes the event. The county calendar may list an event title, date, start time, and location. It may also show the address, courtroom, and a short description. Treat it as a setting clue, nothing more. It is not the full case register. Confirm with the named court, because continuances and resets can move the date.
| Date | The newest date shown in the Hatton case or confirmed by the Hatton court. |
|---|---|
| Time | The docket-block or individual start time, plus any report-by time. |
| Courtroom | The room and court location, when the public entry supplies them. |
| Judge | The judicial officer shown for that setting, if public. |
| Setting Type | Arraignment, pretrial, trial, mitigation, contested hearing, or another event. |
A Hatton reset means the hearing moved, not that anyone dismissed it. Trust the latest Hatton event, and call the clerk when two sources disagree.
Hatton Court Record Context
Hatton ranks fifth among Adams County's incorporated places. The Washington Office of Financial Management table lists a 2020 Census population of 79. The same table gives a 2025 estimate of 165. The source offers no explanation for the jump, so blame neither annexation nor migration. Population numbers prove nothing about a city's court caseload either.
So treat the missing Hatton docket portal as an access gap, not as proof of low court activity. Every Hatton record still belongs to a named court and its keeper.
Hatton Traffic Ticket Lookups
Start with the ticket itself. It lists the Hatton court. It also shows the infraction number, the issue date, and the ways you can respond. Adams County gives four choices: Pay, Payment Plan, Mitigation Hearing, and Contested Hearing. You must answer within 30 days of issuance, or 33 days if the ticket was mailed. Paying counts as accepting the violation. A mitigation hearing admits it happened but asks the Hatton court to weigh the circumstances. A contested hearing pushes back on the infraction itself.
The court printed on the ticket is where you respond. The city name alone will not tell you that. Ignore the deadline or skip a hearing and Washington law lets the court take reporting and licensing action. For the countywide process and current fees, see the Adams County traffic court records.
Requesting Hatton Court Records
When a portal comes up empty, go straight to the Adams District Court record-request form. It works for any file in either District division. First figure out whether your form should name Othello or Ritzville. Then fill in the Hatton case or citation number and say exactly what you want, such as the Hatton court docket, a citation or complaint, a judgment or resolution, a certified document, or a recording CD. Pick your delivery and certification options and sign it.
Do not enclose payment. The form promises an invoice instead. Current listed charges are $5 per docket and $0.50 per page for a Hatton citation or complaint. A judgment or resolution costs the same per page, and a certified document runs $5. Fee schedules change, so verify the price with the Hatton court before ordering.
File through the official Adams court-record request page, and only after the clerk confirms that office holds the Hatton matter. A Superior Court record is different. Send that request to Katie Sloan, Adams County Superior Court Clerk.
How Hatton Cases Reach the County
The paper tells you where to start. No Hatton municipal court is listed. So the court named on the filing controls the path. District Court handles traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, name changes, protection orders, and lower-dollar civil cases. Adams County Superior Court takes felonies and major civil matters. It also handles domestic relations, probate, adoption, parentage, juvenile, and mental-health cases. An appeal from District Court generally lands in Superior Court.

Odyssey holds Superior Court case information. For the lower courts, re:Search WA is the current county-named route. The Adams County court docket overview maps both systems at county depth.
Hatton Records After the 2026 Change
Three Adams County courts moved to Tyler Enterprise Justice on May 4, 2026: Adams District Court–Othello, Adams District Court–Ritzville, and Othello Municipal Court. On June 1, the county began steering limited-jurisdiction court-record users to re:Search WA. That shift explains a lot. An older state reference tool no longer behaves like the official record path.
The Othello municipal calendar is a city-specific resource, and Hatton has no verified counterpart. Do not read a Hatton date from it. The official page shows why each city and court needs its own channel, and it does not build a Hatton municipal database.
Search the Hatton court named on the Hatton case. If a lower-court item is missing, confirm the exact number, spelling, and division. Then call the clerk. For a Superior matter, run Odyssey Smart Search and narrow to Adams County. Archived or restricted matters may still need direct contact.
Hatton Docket Versus Driver File
A Hatton traffic court record is not a Washington driving abstract. The court docket tracks the citation case. It records the response, the settings, the findings, and the disposition. The state licensing agency keeps the driving record separately. So a request to the Hatton court should name the citation, docket, judgment, or another court document. Do not ask it for a driver abstract.
| Record | Custodian | Main content |
|---|---|---|
| Hatton-related court docket | Court named on citation | Events, setting, response, disposition |
| Washington driving abstract | State licensing agency | Separate licensing record |
Keep the two files separate even after a missed response makes the Hatton court report an action. The Hatton court clerk can verify the case record. That clerk cannot turn it into a driving abstract.
Who Can See Hatton Court Records
Hatton-related court records stay open unless a statute, court rule, or order restricts them. GR 31 governs public access and makes courthouse inspection free. GR 15 covers sealing and redaction. GR 22 shields sensitive family, protection, guardianship, and therapeutic information. The Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, governs agency records. But no administrative request can crack a sealed court file.
The official Superior Court caseload source reports Adams County categories. It does not create a Hatton municipal caseload. County figures describe the system as a whole. They cannot fill the documented Hatton data gap.
A blank Hatton search result has several possible causes. The record may sit under a District Court division name, belong to Superior Court, predate the present lower-court system, or carry restricted visibility. Search the exact case number and court first. Then ask the custodian. The file may be archived, newly entered, sealed, juvenile, or otherwise limited. Free courthouse inspection covers only records that are lawfully open. Copies and certification can still carry the posted clerk fees.
Key Rules:
Washington GR 31 sets access rules and protects listed personal identifiers.
Washington GR 15 sets standards for seals and redactions.
Washington Public Records Act applies to agency records subject to exemptions.
A blank Hatton search can mean many things. The court may be wrong, the Hatton case too new to show, the file archived, or the matter sealed or confidential. Juvenile information faces special limits. Check the Hatton court, retry the exact number, and ask the custodian whether a public portion can be inspected or copied. Never call a missing result a deleted Hatton case.
