Why We Built This Site
Public access is broad in Washington, but custody depends on court level. Katie Sloan, the Adams County Superior Court Clerk, maintains felony, major civil, domestic, probate, and other Superior records. District clerks maintain limited-jurisdiction matters in Othello and Ritzville, while Othello Municipal Court keeps its city cases. Odyssey, re:Search WA, and the Washington Courts reference search serve different roles. The site brings those distinctions and request routes into one clear source.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Adams County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Washington court, clerk, or agency. Its limits are firm:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this website is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Independent providers power search boxes found on some content pages. They control their services, prices, and results. A paid signup may generate a referral fee that supports site operation. Adams County Court Docket does not control those providers or guarantee their output.
